Posted March 28, 2017

Now there’s an awards program designed specifically for low-budget independent filmmakers.

The awards were created by Terri Lee, a professional film critic for WWJ Newsradio 950 / CBS Radio Detroit. Terri is a member of several film critics groups, including the Detroit Film Critics Society (DFCS) and the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA), the largest film critics group in the U.S. and Canada.

The “I See You Awards” provide an opportunity for low-budget independent filmmakers worldwide to be recognized and rewarded for their accomplishments. The first annual awards will be handed out on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Boll Theater in downtown Detroit, the hottest turnaround story in the United States!

Currently, sponsors include the Michigan Film & Digital Media Office, Emagine Entertainment, The Lee Group, LLC and WWJ Newsradio 950/CBS Radio Detroit, among others.

We are currently accepting nominations on our website: www.iseeyouawards.com

Filmmakers who enter via the FilmFreeway link will receive 50% off the entry fee by using the code: ISYA2017.
